Youth Safety Program - This program addresses safety issues relating to many popular youth activities, such as bike riding, skateboarding, in-line skating, riding the school bus, riding in automobiles and exploring the internet.   More detailed information about the Youth Safety program is available in the "International Programs Planning Guide."

Tri-Star Sports

Tri-Star Sports - Clubs focus on three skills competitions in each of the following sports: basketball, baseball, soccer, football, in-line hockey or ice hockey. These contests are the perfect opportunity for children to have fun while testing their skills in three areas of the sport of your choice. Each skill offers exciting opportunities to promote self-confidence and physical fitness, even if you have limited resources.  Our club conducts the Tri-Star Basketball and Tri-Star Soccer competions.

The Evansville Area Optimist Clubs recognize the top 10 seniors at the local high schools during the first week of November.

An appreciation breakfast with inspiring speaker is held with the students participating in a "job shadow" in a field of interest during the remainder of the day .
